The Department ofMechanical Design undetakes the professional basic compulsory courses ofmechanical and near mechanical courses in our school, and the teaching workloadis 9,014 class hours in 2024. All courses with more than two teachers have beenseparated from teaching and testing, and some classes of theoretical mechanicsand Materials Mechanics have been mixed online and offline teaching.
Excellent results wereobtained in competitions such as machine innovation, Mecha and engineeringtraining. The Higher Education Cup(national)has won a total of 4 awards:including 1 second prize for innovation design and 3 third prizes forindividual all-around. The Above Cup (municipal)Advanced mappingtechnology and innovative design competition won a total of 40 awards,including 4 first prizes and 36second prizes. The innovative design modulebroke through the first prize for the first time, an increase of 2.5 times comparedwith the same period last year, and 14 people were awarded excellentinstructors. Shanghai University students Mechanics Competition won 1 firstprize, 1 second prize, 4 awards of excellence.
In 2024, there are 20innovative projects to guide college students, and "TheoreticalMechanics" won the second prize of the school curriculum ideological andpolitical teaching design case.
